Born to German parents and known as the "slab hunter" and his love for heavy, barreling waves, Tim's life takes a dramatic turn when a teammate's injury elevates him from alternate to Olympic qualifier with just two months to prepare. Thrust into the spotlight, he struggles with media scrutiny and public doubt while training hard for his first Olympic contest.
