ABOUT THE PROJECT

Shooting a testimonial for ostomy care specialist Coloplast with real patients went to the core of what challenges us in filmmaking: balancing an advertising-inspired visual aesthetic with honest stories about sensitive topics: stories with purpose.

When leading interviews on such personal subjects, taking time and truly listening is essential. An open interview format created space for people to speak about experiences that are rarely discussed and often underestimated until they affect us directly. It is a sensitive subject that requires a great deal of care and respect.
For us as filmmakers, the most rewarding part is earning the trust that allows people to open up on camera.
Our goal was to capture this authentically and tell their stories with respect and truth.

What Coloplast does has real purpose beacuse it gives people back their freedom.
